Following recent investigations into fake SST card fraud, the DOB, OSHA, and the NYC Department of Investigation are tightening oversight of authorized providers and the mandatory use of the Training Connect system.

There are currently more than 378,000 active SST Cards in NYC.

Scaffold, Flagger, and OSHA cards are integrated within the SST system and must be renewed every 4 to 5 years, depending on the course.
